The Early Childhood Leadership Commission hosts monthly informational Town Halls to provide families, providers, members of the workforce, and early childhood stakeholders with updates about the Department of Early Childhood and Universal Preschool Program implementation process and opportunities to get involved. Join us to hear from members of the Colorado Department of Early Childhood and Governor's Early Childhood Transition Team, state agency leaders, and others early childhood champions as we work together to ensure all children, families, and early childhood professionals are valued, healthy and thriving. Spanish language interpretation will be available.
La Comisión de Liderazgo para la Primera Infancia (ECLC) seguirá organizando reuniones comunitarias informativas mensuales para proporcionar a las familias, los proveedores, los miembros del personal y las partes interesadas en la primera infancia con actualizaciones del Departamento de la Primera Infancia, el proceso de implementación del Programa Preescolar Universal y las oportunidades para participar. Universal Preschool Listening Sessions
The ECLC held 4 virtual listening sessions in 2021 to collect stakeholder feedback on the draft Universal Preschool Recommendations, one on December 11, two on December 13, and one and December 14. Your continued input remains critical to this process, and we appreciate everyone who attended these meetings. Public Feedback Form Responses are now available.

Members of the transition team hosted a statewide listening tour October 11-15, 2021 to share the progress on the Department of Early Childhood Transition Plan and ask for feedback. Families, Workforce, and Provider Experiences

To ensure that the voices of families, members of the workforce, and program providers were central to the design of the new Department of Early Childhood, the ECLC held interactive listening sessions throughout the summer of 2021 to invite stakeholders to share their experiences navigating the early childhood system through guided discussions.
